In this video, I show how to do an EM Conversion with a method which is useful for unpatched old gen. After I clean up my fully modified EC Comet, I reload the save and show that it's still there.
Since water method doesn't want to work properly in version 1.00, using this gasoline trick instead is the best option.
I clean up the Comet, also showing how rims become colored STOCK rims again, meaning all LSC-colored stock rims are still never special. Since conversion doesn't transfer tire smoke, PP and window tint, those still remain attached to Comet after the conversion.
It is suggested to destroy your gas tank in a secluded area (best would be the safehouse garage) so you do not get any cops after you, which potentially ruins the task. You can simply drive to it with your modified (or unmodified) donor car, destroy the gas tank and drive until it dies, without getting any wanted level. You can also drive out of the garage and just wait in a car until gas pours out.
Be careful, when your car has an "explosive burst" exhaust (either modification or just a normal sports car), avoid driving as much as you can with destroyed tank. Drive out of garage and just wait there, don't press gas or brakes and wait for the gas to pour out. Burst fire of exhaust can ignite the gas trail even at high speeds.
You can do this conversion if you want, but it is rare, can be done anytime and really isn't giving you anything valuable. Maximum you can get from it, is making special colored rims of some uncustomizable mission vehicles visible by adding custom tires, but, up to you.
