Motor Mania was one of the first color Disney shorts to get non-theatrical distribution, due to a large amount of requests from schools. These titles, scanned from a 16mm Agfa-Gevaert print rented to Swedish schools in the 1970s, were made in the early 1950s, using the original headshot and a Goofy card with a unique layout. After that, it cuts to the original credits. The Complete Goofy DVD also contains this version – but the “crash” effect on the title card has been edited out, probably because someone thought it was an error in the print. If you’re a Swedish fan, you will also notice that the dubbing here is the same as on the 1989 VHS release.
