This is the original United Artits opening titles to the 1934 Mickey Mouse short Shanghaied, scanned from a 9.5mm Pathéscope print. There were never any date codes on such prints, but it was issued in 1952. This copy was not complete, hence the missing closing titles – and I hope to find a better copy some day. I also had to make frame loops in the opening titles since they were considerably shortened for this silent print.
