In 1961, the 1949 Disney short Toy Tinkers was reissued non-theatrically under the name Christmas Capers. All its titles were remade, including the credits (the reissue we see today uses the original version) and the title card, where Chip and Dale now carry a couple of the boxes on their shoulders. The film itself has no cuts or censorship, so the only reason (that I can think of) for its retitling would be for marketing reasons – maybe by clearly showing it was a holiday short, it would get more bookings? This was scanned from a 16mm IB Technicolor print with some splices, so the opening soundtrack is from the Donald Vol. 3 DVD.
