The original RKO titles to the 1948 Disney short Drip Dippy Donald, scanned from a 16mm Technicolor blue-track print. The credits (although in a different layout) are the same as in the Buena Vista reissue that we are used to seeing. The title card is a little bit different, however. The background illustration of the water tap is the same, but – with its shaded framing – it’s centered as it was supposed to be. The three words of the title are more spaciously placed around the water tap here, while the reissue places them all close to the tap, safe from any cropping on TV or other formats. The reissue also omits the quotation marks.
