Seeing the Pyramids of Giza in person was a dream come true. I've been waiting my whole life to see them and they definitely gave me a "Wow" travel moment. In fact, I visited the Pyramids on two separate days so I could take my time and really enjoy the experience. What's better than seeing the Pyramids? Having a guide (Ahmed) who is a licensed Egyptologist showing us around and telling us about the history of the Pyramids. Why they were built, how they were built, and who built them. We not only visit the three main Pyramids, The Great Pyramid (Khufu), The Middle Pyramid (Khafre), and the Smaller Pyramid (Menkaure), but we also visited three of the smaller and relatively unknown Queen's Pyramids, and the quarry where the large limestone blocks were used to build the Pyramids. Incredible!
