Yet another re-do of an older video; thanks to the Twilight Time Limited Edition Blu-ray of "Gidget" (1959), the film can finally be seen in its original aspect ratio on a disc, long overdue! The color and picture are so much richer, and there is greater detail. The fantastic performances, especially by Sandra Dee, James Darren, and Cliff Robertson make this film so wonderful and watchable; James Darren, of course, performs the title tune. The summer is upon us, even though we are still in the middle of a crisis, I hope this video brings back pleasant memories for you. Enjoy!
