The Genesis Magma GT takes the brand into serious supercar territory with a twin-turbocharged V8 producing up to 800 horsepower. This 2-seat, mid-rear-engine machine could become the ultimate expression of Genesis performance.
Originally revealed at Circuit Paul Ricard in November 2025, the Genesis Magma GT Concept was created as a dedicated sports car rather than a performance version of an existing Genesis model. Its low and wide proportions, aerodynamic bodywork, narrow cabin and signature 2-line lighting create a completely different type of Genesis.
An updated Magma GT was shown at Le Mans in June 2026 with exterior refinements and a completely new interior. Genesis has taken a driver-focused approach inside, combining tactile controls, a twin-cockpit layout and an analog instrument cluster inspired by motorsport timekeeping.
The biggest attraction is the powertrain. Genesis says the Magma GT uses a twin-turbocharged V8 producing up to 800 horsepower. The mid-rear-engine layout also shows how seriously Genesis is approaching its new performance flagship.
The Magma GT is expected to influence the direction of Genesis performance vehicles for years to come, but important details remain unknown. Final production specifications, pricing, acceleration, top speed and an official release date have not been announced, and Genesis currently identifies the vehicle as a concept.
