The DaxAI Qiji X1 is a giant 4-legged robotic horse that can actually carry a human rider. Its electric joint actuators can reportedly deliver an incredible 1,400 Newton meters of peak torque.
Developed by DaxAI Robotics, the Qiji X1 combines powerful electric actuators, a 165-volt high-voltage battery system, intelligent balance control, and adaptive leg movement to travel across difficult terrain. The approximately 300-kilogram machine can reportedly carry a dynamic payload of up to 300 kilograms while reaching speeds of around 10 kilometers per hour.
Its reported range is approximately 40 kilometers, with operating times potentially reaching 8 to 10 hours depending on conditions. Unlike a conventional all terrain vehicle, the Qiji X1 can independently manage its leg placement and balance while traveling across slopes, gravel, mud, grass, and uneven surfaces.
The result is something between a robotic horse, a giant robot dog, and a futuristic personal transportation machine. With a human sitting on top, the true scale of the Qiji X1 becomes even more impressive.
