The 2027 Ram Chassis Cab Night Edition brings a blacked out factory look to some of Ram's hardest working commercial trucks. The new package is available for the Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cab with Big Horn and Laramie trim levels.
Ram has taken the popular Night Edition treatment from its pickup lineup and applied it to the Chassis Cab family, adding black painted wheels, black badging, dark grille details, a Sport Performance hood, and body color exterior components.
The changes are mostly visual, but the capability underneath remains serious. Buyers can choose between the 6.4 liter HEMI V8 with 375 horsepower and 429 pound feet of torque or the 6.7 liter Cummins turbo diesel inline 6 producing 360 horsepower and 800 pound feet of torque.
Depending on configuration, the Ram 5500 Chassis Cab can tow as much as 34,540 pounds, while maximum payload can reach 12,370 pounds. Ram also continues to offer commercial focused frame configurations designed to make specialized upfits easier.
The 2027 Ram Chassis Cab Night Edition package is priced at $2,195 for qualifying Big Horn models and $1,695 for Laramie models. Orders are expected to open during the 4th quarter of 2026.
