The 2027 Lexus NX is getting one of its biggest updates yet, including a redesigned interior, updated styling, and Lexus sixth generation hybrid technology. The NX 450h+ also receives a larger 23.0 kilowatt hour battery that increases its European electric driving range to 62 miles.
The refreshed Lexus NX introduces changes throughout the compact luxury sport utility vehicle. Lexus has redesigned the front fascia with a frameless spindle grille, revised the headlights, updated the rear lighting graphics, and given the F Sport model new 20 inch wheels, red brake calipers, and additional aerodynamic details.
Inside, the transformation is even more noticeable. The new dashboard features a large 14.0 inch infotainment display alongside a 12.3 inch driver display, redesigned controls, a new center console, and an updated steering wheel. Lexus has also lowered the seating position and increased steering wheel adjustment to create a more natural driving position.
The NX 350h and NX 450h+ receive updated hybrid technology, while Lexus has also focused heavily on refinement. Structural rigidity has been increased in several areas, and additional sound absorbing materials are designed to reduce engine and road noise by approximately 20 percent.
Pricing for the refreshed Lexus NX has not yet been announced, and United States availability remains to be confirmed. With improvements to efficiency, technology, comfort, handling, and cabin design, the 2027 NX could become a much stronger competitor in the compact luxury sport utility vehicle segment.
