The Booster T2 humanoid robot can mimic the movements of a human operator, and the results look surprisingly natural. Watch as the robot follows full body movements while walking, bending, reaching, sitting, standing, and interacting with objects.
Developed by Booster Robotics, the Booster T2 demonstrates how whole body teleoperation can make controlling a humanoid robot much more intuitive. Instead of relying only on traditional controllers, movements from the human operator can be translated into corresponding actions by the robot.
The demonstration becomes particularly interesting when the T2 performs movements requiring multiple parts of its body to work together. It adjusts its arms, legs, torso, and posture while maintaining balance and interacting with its surroundings.
The robot can also manipulate lightweight objects and push a wheeled cart, showing how teleoperation could eventually help humanoid robots perform increasingly complicated physical tasks.
