And here is another attempt......
If you have watched my full Supper's Ready cover, you will perhaps have noted the 9/8 section was less than perfect (what a surprise!)......
Anyway, this is me an hour and three minutes later trying to show you that I can do it a bit better! I do one of the big snare rolls early yet AGAIN (!), so this is still not great, but at least you get the basic idea of what I was trying to do...
The 6/8 hi-hat and bass drum overlay on the 9/8 pattern is not tight, but the rest is pretty close I think to what I intended as Phil Collins' 9/8 solo.
