What’s Really Inside? | Ganglion Cyst Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment

Ganglion Cysts are common benign tumors that can develop on the wrists, hands, feet and knees. They are often due to repeated microinjuries over time that lead to production of mucin (glycosaminoglycans) that form into firm cysts. In this lesson, we discuss the pathophysiology as to how ganglion cysts develop, some of the signs and symptoms and complications, how they are diagnosed and how they are treated.
