Hoyt Webb thought he could go up against the cops alone. Armed with his Youtube law degree and pre-set "story," he figured all was well. What could go wrong? Why not just take the 5th and STFU? Well, he gave up too much information in my book and that was the basis for him pleading guilty. You are not there to "clear up" anything with the cops. Let guys like me do that. Being a lawyer takes years of training, and the same goes with the cops. They have years of cross-examination skills to get you to admit to the crime.
