Former Prosecutor Patrick J. D'Arcy has questions for Massad Ayoob. How much direct experience does he really have investigating robberies, rapes, homicides, kidnappings and other violent crimes? The Grantham Police Department only reported eight violent crimes for the ten year period of 2011-2020, including only 2 robberies. This suggests very little violent crime arises in Grantham. They only have 5 sworn full-time police officers and no dispatch. It seems that Grantham is very safe, and Mas was a Captain there and part of its team for 32 years. So, how much actual experience with violent crime does Mas have? Mr. D'Arcy looked at a few of Mas' declarations, and doesn't see any college listed, nor specifics to show the heavy experience Mas seems to project. Mas - we'd like your response, please. If Mr. D'Arcy is wrong, he will gladly tell everyone.
Now look, I agree with Mas on other things, but when he ventures into the law like he does (and as a non-lawyer), and uses his authority in a way that could put a person behind bars, I am forced to speak up. Don't send any hate his way. This is a free country, and we are entitled to our opinions. I respect Mas in his firearm skills, etc. Keep everything positive.
