I am not a fan of Eric Swalwell, and I am not a fan of most politicians, regardless of party affiliation. There were accusations that he was sleeping with a Chinese spy while sitting on the "Intelligence Committee" (how's that for an oxymoron). That didn't seem to both the Democrats when accused of, and when Fang Fang fled to China. I am suspicious that all of these stories broke so close together while he is third for the vote in California's governor race, and if he dropped out, and his votes went to the person in fourth position (a Democrat), it could boost that person into the lead, and force a runoff between a Democrat and Republican, rather than two Republicans. I get the feeling that he refused to follow the orders of the powers that be, and they pulled this out to punish him. Swalwell lied about not farting on television. He trusted his fart, and his fart let him down (as farts tend to do). You cannot trust them. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt for now about the non-fart allegations, because we don't have all of the facts, and we are only seeing sound bytes. He is entitled to due process. I find his personality to be irritating and grating. He is a pompous ass. I show clips where he preaches that he is an advocate of women's rights. For good measure, and because he is twice married, I threw in some Bible verses at the end which says that men who commit adultery destroy themselves. Let him be a warning to others - no married man is supposed to be in a hotel with his hands on a nude or semi-nude woman. Maybe it stopped there, and maybe it didn't? I don't know. As far as I know he has not denied that it is him in the video. Marriage is a sacred vow. I do feel sorry for his wife and kids. You'd think a guy his age would understand the harm this does to a family. He did the classic FAFO.
