Mario's Journal:
Day 5
Gage wished us luck.
The Forest Temple wasn't too far away from the Forest Sanctuary. The place seemed all right at first, but then we entered. The place was creepy. There was also a horrible smell in the air. I found the source rather quickly. Poison clouds were all over the place! I was fine as long as I didn't walk inside them.
There were a few monsters here as well. Thankfully, I ended up finding some kind of whirlwind. When I blew into it, a little tornado came out and blew away whatever was in its path. It really came in handy clearing out the poison.
I ran into a strange flying creature. Zelda said it was a mothula. She's been reading about all kinds of monsters that existed in Hyrule. Even though they appeared recently, they have appeared before.
I couldn't seem to get it down until I blew its attack back at it without thinking. That seemed to do the trick as it was stunned long enough for me to destroy it.
There were also these creepy hands that chased me when I found the huge key to the huge door. I managed to get it in the door just in time though and the hands disappeared. Inside the huge door was a path to the roof. It was a nice place surrounded by trees, but it was ruined by a giant bug!
The bug was the source of the poison in the temple! I distracted it and managed to get behind it. That was when I blew the poison away and lunged at its weak backside. It tried to fly away, but I was too fast for it. That was enough to destroy it.
Once the monster was destroyed, a pedestal appeared with a giant green force gem on top of it. The rail map glowed brightly. There was a much louder noise this time. Zelda flew above to see if anything changed. She told me that a piece of the Tower of Spirits had been restored. We did it! We restored power to the tracks!
I guess all we have to do now is tell Anjean and check out that new part of the Tower of Spirits.
