Lost at Sea

I found the island
In the storm’s eye.
It was pleasant,
But it was not home.

As I met the people,
Saved their lives,
And brought them peace,
The island was becoming home.

But it would never be home.
The island and all of its people
Were nothing but an illusion,
All in the head of a boy lost at sea.

But as I saw the Wind Fish
Fly above in the sky,
I began to wonder,
Was it all really a dream?
