Day 6
The Tower of Hera wasn't easy to get through. Many paths were blocked to me and I had to get to them by falling. However, I did find the Moon Pearl that Tren and those two creatures told me about. It was pulsing with a mysterious energy.
Eventually, I reached the very top of the tower where a giant moldorm resided. It was fast and tried to knock me to the lower floors, but I was faster. I dodged an oncoming charge and sliced at its tail. This destroyed the moldorm. The Pendant of Power revealed itself to me.
As soon as I put the pendant around my neck to join the others, I immediately felt stronger than I have been before. A mysterious magic pulsed within the pendants. Somehow, I could touch the magic but when I did, my hands began to feel cold and sparks tickled my fingertips. I stopped touching the magic, fearing I'd destroy the tower.
The only thing left to do was to go to the Lost Woods. When I left the tower, Tren pointed me toward a cave leading back to Kakariko Village. He wished me luck.
I had to stop for a bit in Kakariko Village. There I met an old man by the name of Pyrd. He was begging people to help him find his son who had disappeared searching for the Golden Power. Was his son one of the creatures I met in the Dark World?
I didn't have time to dwell on that. I had to find the Master Sword quickly. The sooner I find it, the sooner I can avenge my uncle.
The pendants guided me through the Lost Woods toward a clearing full of little animals. They fled when they saw me. In the clearing was a stone pedestal with a sword sticking out. The sword flickered as if beckoning me to come toward it. As I approached, the clearing seemed to get brighter and brighter. Once I touched the sword, a warm feeling spread through my body. It was as if I was meant to carry it.
I pulled it cleanly out of the pedestal. The clearing immediately brightened and the trees parted letting in the sun. The sword felt right in my hand. I stared at it in amazement as no one had been able to find the Master Sword in many years.
Sahasrahla contacted me through telepathy and told me that now was the time to take down Agahnim. As I left the woods, a vision flashed before me. It was Zelda calling for help again! Agahnim had found the sanctuary!
I ran as fast as I could to the sanctuary...but I was too late. The priest was dying when I got there and Zelda was gone. The priest told me that spies had seen me go to the sanctuary and that led Agahnim to find the secret passage. He died in my arms.
Agahnim has taken too many lives. I won't let him take Zelda away!
