After a bit of a lull in widespread severe weather across the US, a pattern shift is on its way this week and beyond. A multi-day stretch of severe weather is expected to begin Wednesday evening and peak Thursday and Friday from the Great Lakes to the Mid-South. SPC has outlined Slight Risks (level 2/5) for each day Wednesday-Friday. In this video, we'll compare and contrast a few different model solutions and discuss the potential outcomes from this setup. Beyond this, ensemble models are hinting at a continuation of robust severe weather into early next week.
