Another great film that I got to experience at TIFF 2019. Well... a very solid film. Well... certainly a good film.
That's the thing about #JamesMangold's films... they are undoubtedly entertaining - you can't look past classics like 3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line or his Wolverine films, but it would be very comfortable to call his films comfortable. The narrative or filmmaking never really challenges conventions, and we get the same in #FordvFerrari.
In my #FordvFerrariMovieReview, let's chat about how a film can be completely entertaining, but completely safe, even though it may click all the boxes you want when heading to a theatre and paying money to see it. This review is coming at you like a... really... fast car! VROOM!
