This was a tense flight - Cloud from 1,500 feet AGL all the way to 12,000 MSL, with a freezing level forecasted to be hovering between 5,000 and 6,000 MSL. But I was vigilant checking the outside air temp and watching the wings and struts for any ice accumulation. Even at +3ºC there was a tiny little bit of ice at the leading edge, so I was pretty happy when I could descend lower and gain even 1ºC.
