...It's #firerollfriday again guys !

...This week I'm trying some inner bark from sea hibiscus (hibiscus tiliaceus) I've been growing in the garden. I was originally growing this as a fire plough option but as with other members of the hibiscus family this stuff has some great inner bark fibres.

...The bark peels off the thin branches easily & it doesn't take too much scraping to get down to the fine fibres. I added some wood ash, that I use as standard when trying new rolls & it fired up easily producing a strong ember.
