Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video covers a full playthrough of Chapter 13, Where Angels Fear to Tread.

Chapter 13 takes the party to the Temple of the Ancients in the Northwood, one of the most iconic locations in the original Final Fantasy VII, as Cloud and the team race to recover the Keystone and reach the Black Materia before Shinra. The chapter is one of the longest and most demanding in the entire game, splitting the party across multiple trial sections as Aerith, Yuffie and Red XIII each face their own paths through the temple while Cloud presses forward. Boss encounters include the Demon Wall and the twin Demon Gate fight, with the Demon Wall in particular being one of the most brutal encounters in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth due to its constantly shrinking arena and relentless area attacks. The chapter closes with a sequence of events that sets up the devastating final act of the game, including Sephiroth claiming the Black Materia and a cliffhanger ending that will hit differently for longtime fans of the original.
