Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video covers a full playthrough of Chapter 10, Watcher of the Vale.

Chapter 10 takes the party to Cosmo Canyon, the sacred home of Red XIII and the centre of planetology in the world of Final Fantasy VII. After arriving by plane from Gongaga, Red XIII reunites with his grandfather Bugenhagen and is asked to undergo a trial to become a Watcher, leading the party deep into the Cave of the Gi, the ancient enemies of Cosmo Canyon. The chapter builds to a boss fight against Gi Nattak, a tricky encounter with no elemental weakness that tests players with a Doom timer in the final phase, demanding aggressive play and effective use of Limit Breaks to avoid a party wipe. The chapter closes with one of the most emotionally charged revelations in the entire Final Fantasy VII story, recontextualising everything known about Red XIII and his father Seto.
Chapter 10 draws directly from one of the most beloved and heartbreaking moments in the original Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation, and Rebirth delivers it with the full weight it deserves on Nintendo Switch 2.
