Feyenoord head coach Robin van Persie said they will play the game they believe in ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League third qualifying round second-leg match against Fenerbahçe.
Speaking at a press conference held at Chobani Stadium, where the match will take place, the Dutch manager said he felt at home being back in Kadıköy.
Van Persie stated that the score from the first match would not change their game plan:
“It’s great to be here, I feel at home. Back in 2015, I was sitting in this very chair. Even some of the staff members are the same, which feels really nice. The score won’t change our game. We will continue to play the way we believe in. We adjust spaces according to the opponent, but as a team, we try to stick to the strategy we believe in.”
