The campaign in 1372 DR continues, but changes are on the horizon.
We are back in the Cormanthyr forest at Turn 36. While our Faction Leader has been conquering the areas next to Evereska with a force of elite Elven Mages, our Heir is currently leading a much more diverse—and arguably more fragile—contingent. This army relies heavily on Lizardmen Mercenaries, including Berserkers and Ambushers, supported by Unicorn Riders and the Coronal Guard.
In this episode:
Battle for the Wilds: We take on a Minor Faction settlement defended by a brutal mix of Orcs, Gnolls, Minotaur, Tanarukks, and Hill Giants.
The Magic Meta: I discuss the current state of the Mo. Despite the Heir's army having fewer casters, the sheer power of the Coronal Guard and Lesser Faehr Mages remains game-changing.
Why the Restart? I explain my decision to restart the campaign following the March 17th Update. We’ll talk about the new Sirocco Mercenary Company, the completed unit cards for the Thayan Nation and Aglarond, and the crucial recruitment time rebalancing. No more 6-turn basic archers or 1-turn elite units!
Hardware Talk: I also share my thoughts on upgrading my PC. To truly push the limits of M2EX, a stronger CPU is becoming a necessity.
This is the final stretch for this specific save file before we dive into the polished March 17th build.
