Taking my first ever dive into Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster! I never played the original myself, but I have clear memories of watching a friend play it on his PC back in the day.
As someone who played a lot of DOOM on the Super Nintendo around 1998, this game immediately feels familiar—it’s essentially "Star Wars Doom" with Stormtroopers instead of demons. This Remaster by Nightdive Studios looks great and runs much smoother than the original version I remember.
In this video, I play through the first 30 minutes, getting a feel for the blasters, the maze-like levels, and Kyle Katarn’s first mission to steal the Death Star plans.
