New lady joins the fleet! :D
I've had my eyes set on the Raptor for quite a long time now, and when I got the 100€ discount prize on Motion RC's Friday live show 'End-of-year Awards' I knew the time had finally come! :D

So there it is... my first 5th gen jet! Wish it had been the Su-57 but the one by LX honestly sucks, needs a lot of work to get it right (otherwise a great flyer), so... there's that. (I like to say that a lot, I know).

Early evaluation: This jet rocks, but the Freewing Su-35 still keeps the podium... by a fair margin. Will elaborate further as I keep flying it, but the jet is worse behaved, generally speaking, and much heavier. It still packs a punch and is probably one of the most aerobatic jets I've flown... like... top 3, easily. Even without thrust vectoring. Flat spins like a dream!

Mind that although most of the jet is stock, I performed several modifications. Removed the infamous Blue Box and wing ribbon wires, passed individual leads to wing servos, mixed them all separately, removed pilot figure and nose gear light, installed a HE A3S3 gyro (which required physical servo reversing one stabilator servo, inverting motor and pot wires), added a green LED to make a fake HUD reflection effect, airbrushed the canopy to make it look more golden, like the full-scale one. Need to pick the sun at the right angle to show up though!

These were flights 1st to 5th with 'Scarlett' as I'm naming her! :)
