'Tis but a scratch!
Now here's something you don't get to see every day... While performing an airshow at the MAKS 2019 airshow, this MiG-35 (MiG-29M2) lost a piece of wing panel in the middle of the flight. No big deal though, it wasn't a critical part and the pilot probably didn't even notice until later, so he kept on with the display... just as in the old (but gold) comedy sketch by Monty Python: ...Just a flesh wound!
These russian jets are tough birds, you know... ^^
Anyway, this sort of event has happened a few times over the years on different airplanes and airshows, I recall a demo with an F-16 going through similar 'jump scares', but don't panic... when one pushes planes that much, eventually some pieces are bound to come loose, but most of the times, this doesn't result in a crash as their design is highly redundant. It's just the name of the game.
On another note, I'm sorry the video came out blurry, I didn't focus correctly, my bad.
The plane was being flown by Dmitriy Selivanov and Mikhail Belyaev during MAKS 2019, August 29th (Zhukovskiy, Moscow region).

0:00 - Taxi
0:30 - Take-off
1:30 - Descending loaded roll
2:00 - 360º level high-G turn with 3 rolls
2:40 - Very cool pull up with loaded roll exit
3:00 - Quick inverted flight
3:20 - Rolling ascent
3:40 - High speed, high G level turn
4:25 - Sharp descent towards camera
4:42 - MiG-35 loses a wing panel!!!
4:45 - More ascending loaded rolls :3
5:10 - High AoA, slow speed loaded roll towards camera (c00lest maneuver IMO)
5:25 - Very low speed, high AoA flyby
6:05 - Accelerating turn-descent
6:15 - Knife edge with roll, sharp pull up at the exit
6:45 - Gear down
7:05 - Landing
8:00 - Pilots salute!
8:48 - Compilation of scenes of the wing panel coming off in slow motion
The MiG-35 two-seat multifunctional frontline fighter is designed to engage air targets in any weather, day or night, destroy moving and fixed ground (surface) targets, as well as to facilitate in-flight training of flying personnel.
The MiG-35 can effectively accomplish a variety of missions, including combat air patrol, air target interception, escort of attack and military transport aircraft, striking against ground targets, air support of ground troops and landing forces, battlefield air interdiction and aerial reconnaissance.
The fighter carries modern targeting and navigation system, quadruple redundant fly-by-wire flight control system, radar and optical locating systems, helmet-mounted targeting and display, communications and self-defense equipment, cockpit instrumentation and other aids that working together provide high flight safety, effective use of weapons, as well as precise navigation. Its arsenal includes short and medium-range air-to-air missiles, air-to-surface missiles, guided aerial bombs, unguided rockets and bombs, and an internal gun. Owing to a wide range of weapons coupled with its excellent flight performance, the MiG-35 offers high combat effectiveness.
