ESO - Stamina Nightblade vMA Daggers (95k+ on Raid Dummy) - See Description - Elsweyr
This video showcases a very potent vMA Dagger rotation (though I used 1 Axe here) for the Stamina Nightblade. This is ready for use in Elsweyr and is mostly suited to 12-man Trials.
Somehow unexpectedly, this is the strongest rotation I came up with for the Stamblade. Taking the old rotation and gear but simply replacing Surprise Attack with Rapid Strikes was also stronger and gives a noticeable improvement to sustain.
Build as seen in video - https://i.imgur.com/Kh6UAKK.png
vMA Daggers Parse from video (95.7k) - https://i.imgur.com/nTyEsaB.png
'Classic' Rotation (93.4k) - https://i.imgur.com/KGjddDI.png
'Classic' Rotation but with Rapid Strikes (95.0k) - https://i.imgur.com/pBv58kB.png
This is a rotation performed on the new Raid Dummy. This means there are a selection of buffs and debuffs present, which allows easy comparison between different classes, and for other players to compare against each other, if they wish, as a 'solo' player, without the need of help from another player; a really valuable addition to the game.
Why is Rapid Strikes better? It got buffed by 21%, it does a better job of proccing Relequen ticks, and sustain is easier than with Surprise Attack. I did a quick sustain test - ran out of Stamina in 80 seconds with pure Rapid Strikes spam. With Surprise Attack I was out after 37 seconds.
I am using the Max Stam/Stam Regen food for all Stamina setups in these comparison tests. The key is to simulate raid sustain. Gear-wise, I am using Velidreth and Perfected Relequen / Lokkestiiz, which looks to be the best bet for many situations.
I'll quickly outline the important Stamina Nightblade PVE changes for Elsweyr:
- Relentless Focus loses Minor Berserk and Endurance, but a Bow Proc heals for 33% of the damage. Each stack reduces damage taken by 3% up to 15% until bow proc is consumed. Duration increased to 30 seconds from 20. Almost a completely different skill now, but in well-organised groups this is a buff.
- Summon Shade now scales with primary stats (Stamina and Weapon Damage here). Now it's worth using on a Stamblade.
- Surprise Attack no longer applies Major Fracture. If used on the flank of an enemy, you reduce their Physical Resistance by 5% of what's left. Not so noteworthy in optimised groups, and hurts solo play.
- Incap while slotted grants Reave, which restores up to 100 Mag/Stam when dealing damage with an LA/HA on a target with a negative effect active on them. Small bonus.
The disadvantage with the vMA Dagger build is the lack of a monster set. E.g. No Velidreth when multiple spores hit. One of the great advantages though is having both Lokkestiiz and Relequen double barred. It doesn't matter which bar you activate syniergies on, whereas with Lokke daggers, only front is useful.
-- Rotation
Rending Slashes, Poison Injection and Rearming Trap can all be empowered by the vMA Daggers' Cruel Flurry. You'll notice I try to always empower my Rending (by ensuring I cast Rapid Strikes beforehand) and also Injection (by not consuming Cruel Flurry before I go to my backbar). Trap is not as important, because only one Trap gets the empowerment per Rapid Strikes cast.
The Backbar rotation is different from what we've seen recently. No issue in casting 5 backbar skills in a row if you're not using Advancing Yokeda. E.g. If Hail, Caltrops, Injection, Shade and Incap all need to be cast, there's nothing wrong with that if you follow it up with a good burst.
During an Incap Burst Phase, try and pack in as much Rapid Strikes and Bow Procs as possible. Ensure your empowered Injection is already up at this point, and do cast an Empowered Rending early-on in the burst phase if not beforehand. Don't worry about lining it all up perfectly otherwise your burst window will likely be too small and your backbar DOTs may run out during.
In Execute, it's not worth making use of Cruel Flurry (except for empowering Injection one last time as you pass 25% Boss HP). At this point, don't bother to recast Shades and Rending, and feel free to let your Relentless drop. Now it's just Killer's Blade Spam whilst recasting Hail Caltrops and Injection only if you're confident they will last near another full duration.
Trap on Backbar is a flex spot. Replace it with Leeching Strikes/Mirage if and when required. Leeching being less useful now since Rapid Strikes contributes to a slower Stamina Drain, and the Shades, costing Magicka, means that the Stamina Nightblade still has insanely good sustain despite the loss of built-in Minor Endurance.
If there are any questions, do let me know in the comments.
Cheers @Freezedm for the new animations.

![ESO - [Symbolic] - vAS HM - Stamblade Bow/Bow Practice - Wrathstone
This is a clip from Day 2 as a Bow user in vAS HM. I had fun trying out for Symbolic, thanks for having me. Karma and I are looking forward to leaving Hodor and joining the core team kappa.
I was at 64k/52k DPS when the last sphere came before the execute phase. Unfortunately, the Main Tank died at the beginning of execute so we didnt finish this attempt. This means I dont really have a clean parse to link, since the fight dragged on. It does show that this build certainly has potential to beat a Magblade.
Hopefully, if I do upload again, it will be a bit more polished, still a lot more to get right consistently. This is mainly an upload for the interest of others in Hodor so we can compare, but Im leaving it public so maybe others can find it useful too.
Some notes which helped me improve from Day 1:
This is a clip from when I was using Reapers Mark, so I was setting off a little earlier than usual to make the most of the Major Berserk. Still did 11-12k AOE damage, which is pretty reasonable considering.
Without Mark (since I was taking turns with Karma) I would use Crushing Weapon to attack spheres when they were below 50%, to guarantee that I do not waste Global Cooldowns from casting an empty Snipe. Although you dont see it consistently here, when a sphere was approaching I would cast Crushing instead of Snipe to prevent wasted GCDs.
Crushing Weapon was also really good to use if I needed mobility when I was in a hard spot such as when kiting storm, and when I had the defiling blast on me as youll see. The heal does 25% of the damage done, so it is a pretty strong self-heal.
Previously I didnt bother to recast Hail at all on Olms, but it also works to recast it when a sphere spawns under Olms. If not, then a poison injection just to keep up the Berserker Glyph.
I didnt try ballista over incap at all. Incap was great because it usually coincided with the source of Major Slayer received from the DDs next to me (thanks Random!). Lining my skills up with incap is something that I can do a lot better, but it was pretty bursty all the same despite some mis-timings.
My major courage uptime here was only 39%, entirely my fault as I was playing in a different position than I do normally, and with a lot of new things to learn, looking for Olorime took a backseat - oopsie!

![ESO - [Hodor] - vCR HM 132,661 Score - 6:46 Fight Time - Liköya Magblade - Wolfhunter
This is the run from the #1 Score for Cloudrest in the Wolfhunter Patch. Well played to the other guilds on EU for pushing us and each other with new ideas, its been fun.
This happened to be the only run where I tried to use just Soul Harvest as a non-Major Slayer user. Not a particularly good idea. It may have contributed to faster kill of minibosses, but it didnt do anything extra for damage to ZMaja, which is the primary goal. To be honest I didnt play particularly well in this run and got held up by my Siroria Circle a few too many times for my own liking.
Fingers crossed someone actually lets me bring a non-Nightblade in Murkmire :D

![ESO - Stamina Sorcerer Rotation (58k+ on 6mil) - See Description - Murkmire PTS 4.2.0
Edit 31st October - Please see updated video for Murkmire - https://youtu.be/-kod_JZGM_U
This is a video to showcase a Stamina Sorcerer rotation. Again, its not a build video as such. Any information here is subject to change before the official release of Murkmire. If this page needs updating, then I shall do so.
These tests were done to compare indirectly with a Stamina Nightblade. Identical buffs to a Stamblade were received (Minor Savagery, Major Fracture and Breach and Minor Berserk). Orbs were also given as standard. Thanks, @stileanima!
The DPS of this class should only be compared to other Stamina classes in my recent videos - and NOT the Magicka classes.
I waited until now to upload Stamina Sorcerer because we were expecting a positive change to Sorcerer sustain in PTS 4.2.1. We got a buff to dark deal - which doesnt really help us here. I tried it and ended up losing DPS versus just using heavy attacks.
As you can see, Stamina Sorcerers ST damage seems to be inline with other stamina classes. Note: There is a little bit of minor vulnerability coming from the Atronach (12% in this parse), which inflates the parse by around 500 dps here.
Sustain for a Stamina Sorcerer is by far the worst out of all Stamina classes. The difference between Stamina Drain and Stamina Regen is too high and there is no way to control this other than use heavy attacks (or Dark Deal, which I already mentioned is undesirable). For this reason, I chose to use Dubious drink instead of Max HP Max Stam food. As a consequence, I chose Ravager over Advancing Yokeda, since the HP bonus makes brings your HP pool to a safer threshold - 15.8k HP (or 17k HP for the duration that your Storm Atronach is up) instead of 14.5k HP or so with Advancing Yokeda.
Since I never wrote/showed Stamina Sorcerer stuff before, Ill write a little about the rotation - it is quite simple so there isnt much to say.
Rotation
Backbar rotation is almost always Hail - Caltrops - Poison Injection. Use your ultimate if its up, as the fourth skill.
Front bar rotation is simply casting your dots on cooldown whenver possible (hurricane, trap and rending slashes). For the rest of the time, just spam crushing weapon (and that is a lot of time spent spamming this skill). Rending slashes, trap and hurricane can all be recast a second or two early if you are switching to your back bar. Nothing really changes throughout.
Ballista and Storm Atronach ultimates do pretty similar DPS. If I am bringing a Stamina Sorcerer to a raid, I would rather bring the Storm Atronach for the nice synergy that your teammates can use.

Firstly, sorry for all the continuous Spider-filled Bow/Bow content. I hope its useful and enjoyable though. This is Part 3 of the Stamina Nightblade vAS Bow/Bow journey.
Here we completed our bow/bow transformation, with now every DD including the interrupter running a stamina build. We killed Olms before Felms even enraged. We got a really competitive score, beating our previous by 32 seconds and we will most likely be moving on to something different. (Old score: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uNgjE21g08). Thanks to @nogetrandom and @TerminalVelocity from Symbolic for filling in perfectly.
