This video showcases two strong Stamina Nightblade setups that I will be using in the Wolfhunter update.
For those wanting to learn (new to trials, Stamina Nightblade etc), hopefully, this will help. For the experienced Stamblade, you might prefer to compare and share ideas.
For information about the rotation itself, please visit this dodgy link for further information, as it's too long to fit here: http://txt.do/d727x
I would recommend giving this a read if you want a breakdown of how I think about my rotation, how to get the best burst, how to execute, and a few tips on how to read combat metrics reports to measure the quality of a given Stamina Nightblade parse.
It is an adapted version of the description I wrote in Summerset, which is found here: youtube.com/watch?v=b_Ic1NqMXZA
Here though, I will primarily focus on results from testing enchants and traits for weapons. In Wolfhunter, the way that weapons proc enchants have changed, as well as the fact that one infused trait no longer affects both weapons on a dual wield set up.
I would say overall DPS on Stamina Nightblade is roughly the same compared to Summerset. The change of enchants both raised and lowered DPS in different ways. Max HP Max Stamina food gives the normal amount of resources again, which is a few hundred less (Summerset was the exception), and 10 more blue CPs can be allocated.
For the record, Stamina Nightblade should still be the highest Single Target DPS class in the game, slightly ahead of Magicka Nightblades.
I wanted to get this out sooner, but I didn't have any War Machine Daggers until Thursday (thanks Fallen), and the PTS was a buggy mess.
Thanks to @stileanima for trying to keep up 100% major fracture, and for the orbs.
- Gear Comparison -
Relequen remains the best set to wear on the body for the majority of fights. Advancing Yokeda most likely remains the best 'selfish' set to wear. War Machine is an extremely good alternative if sources of Major Slayer are required in the group.
Whilst testing, given major fracture and orbs, Advancing Yokeda versus War Machine on frontbar (with daggers) gave almost identical results consistently.
Combat Metrics Screenshots from the video:
First setup - (Advancing Yokeda, Relequen, Selene's) - 58.5k - https://i.imgur.com/VEz3r9k.png
Build - https://i.imgur.com/rtdFkiJ.png
Second setup - (War Machine, Relequen, Selene's) - 58.3k - https://i.imgur.com/xkbtxjh.png
Build - https://i.imgur.com/QLJY481.png
For comparison's sake, these setups are yielding me 55-56k DPS on a 6mil dummy when solo.
- Enchant and Trait Testing -
The best combination for the majority of situations I found was this:
- Main-Hand : Nirnhoned Disease Enchanted Dagger
- Off-Hand : Infused Berserker Enchanted Dagger
- Bow : Infused Poison Enchanted Maelstrom Bow
For fights where you can use a Prismatic Enchant, it is likely to be this:
- Main-Hand : Nirnhoned Poison Enchanted Dagger
- Off-Hand : Infused Berserker Enchanted Dagger
- Bow : Infused Prismatic Enchanted Maelstrom Bow
I tried a bunch of different dual wield setups. One control variable, which is very likely to be best, was the Infused Bow with the Poison Enchant. All of the below setups are within 1k DPS of each other on average. However, they are also 0.5-1k+ DPS lower than the above option. Notable mentions:
1. Infused Disease Enchant, Infused Berserker - (I've lost the parse, I'll try and make a new one some time)
Very strong setup.
2. Infused Absorb Stamina, Infused Berserker - https://i.imgur.com/TWupfed.jpg
This is a really interesting setup because the Infused Absorb Stamina Enchant did around 1k DPS but also returned 110-130 stamina per second, which works out to be roughly 12-14k stamina returned over the course of a 6mil dummy for me. I would consider using this setup in stamina intensive fights, such as The Mage in vAA, or the Refabrication Committee in vHOF.
3. Nirnhoned Berserker, Infused Absorb Stamina
This set up performs very similarly to the setup above. Again, the stamina return is great for the same reason as already mentioned.
4. Nirnhoned Disease, Precise Berserker - https://i.imgur.com/TvIYOlj.jpg
Best set up if you are looking for raw stats. Could be useful in Multi-target fights.
Note: I didn't test any Sharpened Off-hand weapons since I wanted to have consistent penetration. It could be a very good option in groups or fights where you expect weaker penetration debuffs.

![ESO - [Symbolic] - vAS HM - Stamblade Bow/Bow Practice - Wrathstone
This is a clip from Day 2 as a Bow user in vAS HM. I had fun trying out for Symbolic, thanks for having me. Karma and I are looking forward to leaving Hodor and joining the core team kappa.
I was at 64k/52k DPS when the last sphere came before the execute phase. Unfortunately, the Main Tank died at the beginning of execute so we didnt finish this attempt. This means I dont really have a clean parse to link, since the fight dragged on. It does show that this build certainly has potential to beat a Magblade.
Hopefully, if I do upload again, it will be a bit more polished, still a lot more to get right consistently. This is mainly an upload for the interest of others in Hodor so we can compare, but Im leaving it public so maybe others can find it useful too.
Some notes which helped me improve from Day 1:
This is a clip from when I was using Reapers Mark, so I was setting off a little earlier than usual to make the most of the Major Berserk. Still did 11-12k AOE damage, which is pretty reasonable considering.
Without Mark (since I was taking turns with Karma) I would use Crushing Weapon to attack spheres when they were below 50%, to guarantee that I do not waste Global Cooldowns from casting an empty Snipe. Although you dont see it consistently here, when a sphere was approaching I would cast Crushing instead of Snipe to prevent wasted GCDs.
Crushing Weapon was also really good to use if I needed mobility when I was in a hard spot such as when kiting storm, and when I had the defiling blast on me as youll see. The heal does 25% of the damage done, so it is a pretty strong self-heal.
Previously I didnt bother to recast Hail at all on Olms, but it also works to recast it when a sphere spawns under Olms. If not, then a poison injection just to keep up the Berserker Glyph.
I didnt try ballista over incap at all. Incap was great because it usually coincided with the source of Major Slayer received from the DDs next to me (thanks Random!). Lining my skills up with incap is something that I can do a lot better, but it was pretty bursty all the same despite some mis-timings.
My major courage uptime here was only 39%, entirely my fault as I was playing in a different position than I do normally, and with a lot of new things to learn, looking for Olorime took a backseat - oopsie!

This is the run from the #1 Score for Cloudrest in the Wolfhunter Patch. Well played to the other guilds on EU for pushing us and each other with new ideas, its been fun.
This happened to be the only run where I tried to use just Soul Harvest as a non-Major Slayer user. Not a particularly good idea. It may have contributed to faster kill of minibosses, but it didnt do anything extra for damage to ZMaja, which is the primary goal. To be honest I didnt play particularly well in this run and got held up by my Siroria Circle a few too many times for my own liking.
Fingers crossed someone actually lets me bring a non-Nightblade in Murkmire :D

![ESO - Stamina Sorcerer Rotation (58k+ on 6mil) - See Description - Murkmire PTS 4.2.0
Edit 31st October - Please see updated video for Murkmire - https://youtu.be/-kod_JZGM_U
This is a video to showcase a Stamina Sorcerer rotation. Again, its not a build video as such. Any information here is subject to change before the official release of Murkmire. If this page needs updating, then I shall do so.
These tests were done to compare indirectly with a Stamina Nightblade. Identical buffs to a Stamblade were received (Minor Savagery, Major Fracture and Breach and Minor Berserk). Orbs were also given as standard. Thanks, @stileanima!
The DPS of this class should only be compared to other Stamina classes in my recent videos - and NOT the Magicka classes.
I waited until now to upload Stamina Sorcerer because we were expecting a positive change to Sorcerer sustain in PTS 4.2.1. We got a buff to dark deal - which doesnt really help us here. I tried it and ended up losing DPS versus just using heavy attacks.
As you can see, Stamina Sorcerers ST damage seems to be inline with other stamina classes. Note: There is a little bit of minor vulnerability coming from the Atronach (12% in this parse), which inflates the parse by around 500 dps here.
Sustain for a Stamina Sorcerer is by far the worst out of all Stamina classes. The difference between Stamina Drain and Stamina Regen is too high and there is no way to control this other than use heavy attacks (or Dark Deal, which I already mentioned is undesirable). For this reason, I chose to use Dubious drink instead of Max HP Max Stam food. As a consequence, I chose Ravager over Advancing Yokeda, since the HP bonus makes brings your HP pool to a safer threshold - 15.8k HP (or 17k HP for the duration that your Storm Atronach is up) instead of 14.5k HP or so with Advancing Yokeda.
Since I never wrote/showed Stamina Sorcerer stuff before, Ill write a little about the rotation - it is quite simple so there isnt much to say.
Rotation
Backbar rotation is almost always Hail - Caltrops - Poison Injection. Use your ultimate if its up, as the fourth skill.
Front bar rotation is simply casting your dots on cooldown whenver possible (hurricane, trap and rending slashes). For the rest of the time, just spam crushing weapon (and that is a lot of time spent spamming this skill). Rending slashes, trap and hurricane can all be recast a second or two early if you are switching to your back bar. Nothing really changes throughout.
Ballista and Storm Atronach ultimates do pretty similar DPS. If I am bringing a Stamina Sorcerer to a raid, I would rather bring the Storm Atronach for the nice synergy that your teammates can use.

Firstly, sorry for all the continuous Spider-filled Bow/Bow content. I hope its useful and enjoyable though. This is Part 3 of the Stamina Nightblade vAS Bow/Bow journey.
Here we completed our bow/bow transformation, with now every DD including the interrupter running a stamina build. We killed Olms before Felms even enraged. We got a really competitive score, beating our previous by 32 seconds and we will most likely be moving on to something different. (Old score: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uNgjE21g08). Thanks to @nogetrandom and @TerminalVelocity from Symbolic for filling in perfectly.

![ESO - Stamina Necromancer Rotation - First Look - Elsweyr PTS 5.0.0
Introduction
This is my video with first impressions on the Stamina Necromancer, with a demonstration of a Dual Wield/Bow rotation. Do ask me any questions in the comments, and Ill try my best to answer them.
A few things to get out of the way:
- Take the DPS Numbers with a pinch of salt. Pet Damage is bugged since it crits 100% of the time
- New raid target dummy currently seems buggy with regards to Engulfing Flames and fire abilities, though none used here
- Pretty much anything you see here is subject to change
- My ideas and whats best will probably change depending on what others discover
I am testing with the new 21M HP Raid Dummy, which has a selection of Buffs/Debuffs included. They can be bit unrealistic (100% major force) for example, but at least consistent. One thing that I have not tested is which debuffs are included. Seems like I am still 7k or so underpen (no Alkosh, crusher, Minor fracture?) I havent tested and hopefully I can update this part when we find out more.

Build used in Video (CPs are selected to be generically raid-ready) https://i.imgur.com/RAx1IAR.png
Necromancer Build Info
- My skill bars shown in the video are as follows:
Dual Wield Bar: Rending Slashes - Venom Skull - Rearming Trap - Detonating Siphon - Blighted Blastbones - Flawless Dawnbreaker
Bow Bar: Endless Hail - Skeletal Archer - Razor Caltrops - Poison Injection - Detonating Siphon - Pestilent Colossus
More information about the Necromancer skills and passives can be found here: https://eso-skillbook.com/skilltree/necromancer
I used the Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice food. This food gives no HP bonus, however, given the Necromancers 2k HP passive, you will reach nearly 17k HP with Toughness and Ebon, which is plenty enough. Even so, sustain here is certainly less than in trial conditions due to lack of synergies (we do at least get shards with the new dummy, which is nice), and the absence of Sentinal of Rkugamz.
There is no emphasis on the gear in this video, still more of a focus on the rotation. Just picked up some sets and rolled with it.
I used the Perfected Lokkestiiz set, which is a drop from the new trial. The 5th piece bonus is 1x Weapon Critical, and Major Slayer for 15 seconds when you activate a synergy, which is pretty nice. Relequen and Velidreth continue to be staples whenever suitable.
Main Impressions
- DPS-wise, the Stamina Necromancer looks to be really strong. Most likely ahead of Stamblades despite the bugged damage mentioned above, at this point. It will probably get tuned down by release and this approach was already stated by the devs.
- At the time of recording, the class does feel rather clunky to play. Blighted Blastbones has a tendency to lock you out of using it, even after the skeleton explodes, and it also hides your weapons during the animation, which is quite off-putting. Detonating Siphon sometimes has a knack to make your character face the wrong way, which can lead the skill to not cast properly also lead to missing your next light attacks. The Venom Skull and Skeletal Archer skills feel very good to use, as does the Pestilent Colossus. All of the animations themselves also look great.
-The Colossus Ultimate is already weaker than first expected. It seems each cast does infact give you only 3 seconds of Major Vulnerability, instead of 5 seconds as theorised before. The cost has also been adjusted from 150 ultimate as originally seen, to 225 here.
Rotation
The rotation which has worked best for me so far is shown in the video. It is very similar to that of the Stamina Warden I showed previously. It is reasonably static, but skills can be shifted as youll see I do in the video. Blighted Blastbones acts very much like Subterranean Assault, when in MELEE range. The way that this skill works, is that the Skeleton is summoned 2.5 seconds after the cast. If youre in melee range, then it will explode within 3 global cooldowns of the first cast. The further away you are to the target though, the longer it will take to explode so the rotation will change when attempting to attack targets slightly further away. Best to stay melee whenever possible.
Generally speaking the rotation is based on the template:
Blastbones - Endless - Archer
Blastbones - Caltrops - Injection
Blastbones - Rending - Tether
Blastbones - Skull - Trap
In group play, using the Colossus Ultimate itself will likely depend on when the group needs it, so no real emphasis on you use it.
Recasting archer early probably seems counter-intuitive since it does more damage over time, but it seems more consistent this way. Tether should not be recast early, since there is a nice burst damage at the end of the duration.

![Magicka Sorcerer No Pet PVE (85k+) - Harrowstorm - ESO
Edit 24th Feb: Updated for Harrowstorm. Not much has changed, but expect better sustain so better DPS!
This is a Magicka Sorcerer No-Pet PVE build and Iron Atronach Parse for the Harrowstorm/Dragonhold patch.
It looks like the difference between having pets and no pets is smaller than it has been in some time. Generally, Magicka Sorcerer has received a set of changes which brings it away from the style of rotation from Scalebreaker, and a little bit closer to that from Elsweyr and the few patches previously.
Thanks to @Aerenel, who raids with Wipes on Trash (WoT) PC/NA, for providing these parses. His Discord ID is @Aerenel#8604 should you want to ask him about Magicka Sorcerer.
Here are the other MagSorc parses from Dragonhold, again kindly provided by @Aerenel.
2-Pet Magicka Sorcerer video here https://youtu.be/8ckdDI6V1uk
1-Pet Magicka Sorcerer video coming soon.
I am using the Max Magicka/Magicka Regen food, with 64 points into Magicka for all Magicka Setups in these rotations.
Gear used here:
5x Mothers Sorrow Body, 5x Siroria front-barred, 2x Zaan. (See build screenshot for full details).
The above is used simply for purposes of comparison against other classes, in this test environment.
Race used: Altmer
Good alternatives: Breton, Dunmer, Khajiit
In real raid situations, consider Clockwork Citrus Fillet or Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl as food alternatives.
Other gear that is perfectly suitable for different situations include:
False God, Spell Strategist, New Moon Acolyte, Burning Spellweave
CMX Parse, Build (Gear, Skills, CPs), Superstar from Video https://imgur.com/a/buK8V7q
Rotation
This No-Pet Magicka Sorcerer rotation can be pretty effective when played well.
Focus on keeping a great up-time with Unstable Wall. Cast Haunting Curse on cooldown, so every 12 seconds, but never before. Allow both explosions to hit. If you want, you can also use the other morph, which is important if you want to switch between Pet and Non-Pet setups. Beyond that, Keep up Barbed Trap and Boundless Storm, which is also great for its utility. This means youll be more optimal when playing as close to melee whenever possible. You can try some of the alternative skills below if you are more comfortable at range. Use Elemental Weapon as your spammable and Crystal Fragments as frequently as possible. At 20% and below, cast Endless Fury (execute) instead of Elemental Weapon. Feel free to continue using Crystal Fragments at this point too.
Proposed Static Rotation:
12-second Rotation as the base structure.
Start:
Boundless - Barbed Trap
Wall - Curse - Boundless/Spam - Spam - Spam - Spam/Barbed Trap
Spam - Spam - Spam - Spam - Spam - Spam/Barbed Trap
Spam = Elemental Weapon / Crystal Frags / Ultimate / Spell Symmetry or Endless Fury at 20% - use whichever is most suitable at any given moment
Every other rotation, alternate Boundless Storm with Spam.
Cast Barbed Trap every 1.5 rotations, at spots where Spam/Barbed Trap is written.
If you prefer Haunting Prey over Curse, then you can cast it every 6 seconds instead of every 12.
About alternative skills. This is for Magicka Sorcerer in general:
Mystic Orb - a must-have skill if you want to include more AOE damage into your setup. Upsides also include a nice group synergy, but the downside is the high resource cost.
Flame Reach - if you wanted to add another single-target DOT. Provides some extra sources of Burning damage and cost is relatively cheap, but damage isnt as good as some other options.
Scalding Rune - another option for an alternative DOT. More damage per cast than Flame Reach but also costlier.
Liquid Lightning / Lightning Flood - an AOE ability which provides a unique synergy for the group. Costs more than it did in the previous patch.
Bound Aegis - if you want a simpler rotation, you could drop a DOT.
Inner Light - same as above, but Bound Aegis is better.
Shield (e.g Empowered Ward) - you could replace a DOT or Spell Symmetry if you can make a setup to sustain without if you wanted to include a shield.
Elemental Blockade - using this morph instead of Unstable Wall can also be a decent option. This option offers more cleave, and a longer duration, therefore better sustain, since this skill is costly.
Consuming Trap - a DOT that can help sustain if used in trash fights or on smaller mobs in Boss Fights, due to the resource return.
Channelled Acceleration - if you prefer this over Barbed Trap, this is fine. Magicka sustain will suffer a little but might be easier to use in some cases.
Power/Critical Surge - an ability which is primarily used for the healing. Power Surge also provides Major Sorcery for yourself.
Scamp or Bird - check out the other Pet Sorc videos, linked above.
