Confidence is one of the quieter wins that does not get talked about enough. Not a perfect wash day. Not zero frizz. Just getting comfortable enough with how your curls look to stop fixing them.
I think about it like getting used to wearing less makeup. You start small, you go out feeling a little exposed, and then slowly your eye adjusts. What felt messy starts to feel like just how your hair looks. And then one day you realize you are not reaching for the spray bottle out of habit anymore.
That shift does not come from finding the right product. It comes from accumulating enough good hair days that your baseline expectation actually changes.
If you are not there yet, that is okay! It is genuinely a practice. But if you have noticed yourself refreshing less, leaving it alone more, or just feeling a little less pressure on non-wash days, drop it in the comments. That is the kind of progress that is easy to overlook and worth naming out loud.
