In a video that may be boring but certainly isn't AI generated, I want to talk about the effective/stimulating reps model which I think is the best model we currently have to talk about hypertrophy training.

As always I'll give too much background on fiber types, muscle recruitment before gettin into what the effective reps model is actually saying in terms of how growth is stimulated.

Mainly this is a lot of background to look at how I think the effective reps framework makes all of the dumb volume arguments go away. That is, when you look at training parameters in a more rational way, the seeming contradictions between everything that seems to work goes away.

But hey, I could be wrong. Even if I doubt it.

And when you're tired of listening to fake scientific charlatans and want real information on changing body composition, well you can't go wrong with the following.
