Do you automatically part your hair the same way every wash day?

Your part placement affects volume more than most people realize.
In this coaching session, we worked on directing the roots before diffusing so the hair wouldn’t split too deeply down the back.
A few small adjustments can completely change the result:
• lift the roots off the scalp while styling
• direct sections backward before they dry
• keep the back more blended instead of sharply parted
• create only a small front part, if needed
Even if you’re not fully brush styling, a brush can still help guide the roots where you want them to dry.
Once the hair starts drying, that direction starts setting.
That’s why root placement and parting matter so much for volume.
