If your curls keep drying flat and stretched out, you might be making one of these three mistakes — and most people don't even realize they're doing them.
❌ Raking in your products and scrunching while your hair is stuck to your head locks in that flat shape before your curls can even form. Lift away from your scalp first, then scrunch.
❌ Loading too much hair into your brush at once over-clumps your sections. Pick up smaller sections — or finish by separating with your hands and lifting away from the scalp.
❌ Air drying or hover diffusing leaves your hair flat no matter how well you styled it. Get your diffuser prongs in at the roots, lift, and hold.
