Part 29 - Fifth Sanctuary Spot
The Fifth Sanctuary melody can be obtained later. If you prefer, you can set sail from Toto and proceed through Scaraba first.
Be sure to get the Broken Bazooka for Jeff (open the trash can in the room at 5:18, just before the Shining Spot). It will be easier to get it after defeating the boss.
Jeff can repair the Broken Bazooka into the Heavy Bazooka (45 IQ required), an item that is equivalent to an endless supply of Super Bombs. It can inflict more damage than Jeff's "shoot" for most of the game.
Be sure to give your fastest party members some food before facing the sanctuary boss. The boss can get a lot of SMAAAASH!! hits, so have your fastest party member use food when someone is heavily wounded.
Poo is a little under-leveled in this video. You should probably stay close to the entrance to the sewer for awhile and level up Poo before proceeding.
To access the sewers in Fourside:
1. Read the Hieroglyphs on the second floor of the Museum in Summers.
2. Answer the phone in the lobby.
3. Talk to Mr. Spoon at the Museum in Fourside.
4. Get Venus's autograph.
5. Give the autograph to Mr. Spoon.

Notes:
0:16 - I got the Spectrum Beam and Crystal Charm for Jeff in Scaraba in part 27 (youtube.com/watch?v=tCGak3TfCjc&t=4m29s). The Crystal Charm increases Speed by 15, making Jeff my fastest party member.
0:26 - Filthy Attack Roach: has a 2-hit attack that can inflict over 100 HP of damage. Defeat quickly with Freeze ß.
1:50 - The door above leads to a trash can containing a Broken Iron. If you didn't get this in Twoson, Jeff can repair it into the Slime Generator, which can solidify a single random target in battle. It can be used indefinitely and can sometimes be useful.
1:57 - The door above leads to a trash can containing a Broken Spray Can. Jeff can repair it into the Defense Spray, which is best sold for $250.
2:20 - Deadly Mouse: defeat quickly with Freeze or Fire. Stinky Ghost: vulnerable to Paralysis; has very high Defense and can cause possession.
3:13 - The trash can above contains a Rust Promoter DX, which inflicts about 400 HP of damage to all metallic enemies in battle. Consumed after 1 use.
3:18 - The door above leads to the Magic Butterfly room. Repeatedly exit and reenter this room to replenish PP.
8:41 - The Plague Rat of Doom relies on physical attacks, but Shield and Flash don't help much. The damage from the Rat of Doom's biting attacks are unaffected by Shield, and SMAAAASH!! hits eliminate shields in 1 hit. Crying doesn't seem to reduce the Rat of Doom's accuracy by very much either.
8:49 - The Mummy Wrap was dropped by the Shattered Man at the Museum in Summers.
My rules for this walkthrough:
1. I don't use Big/Multi Bottle Rockets because I think they make the game too easy. My hope is that not using Bottle Rockets will give you a better sense of what each boss is like and make these videos more interesting.
2. I don't do any level grinding. I'll point out when I think I'm under-leveled in the videos.
