nemi43 | Mother 3 Walkthrough - Chapter 4: Train Tracks @nemi43 | Uploaded 13 years ago | Updated 10 hours ago
Part 17A - The Crossroad to the factory
Get at least 2 or 3 Thunder Bombs from behind the retirement home before entering the train tunnel. You might also want to buy an Alarm Cicada at Thomas's Shop for a later boss. You can also try to buy armor at Thomas's Shop, but it's probably better to save money for the armor sold at Club Titiboo.
Try to avoid most enemies until Lucas learns PSI about halfway along the tracks.
Once Lucas learns PSI, you might want to return to Sunshine Forest and try to hunt for a Black Beanling, a rare enemy that awards 16,080 experience points:

Notes:
5:33 - Muttshroom: Avoid this enemy if you're at a low level and can't combo.
8:21 - If a train approaches while you are on the tracks, press any direction on the control pad to jump out of the way. If you get hit, you'll be taken back to the Crossroad.
8:33 - If you follow the tracks to the end, there is a gift box containing Flea Powder. However, it won't be useful until later in the game, so leave it for now.
8:35 - If you're careful, you can walk between the Squawking Sticks.

My rules for this walkthrough:
1. I don't attack with combos because some people have trouble with them.
2. I don't do any level grinding. I point out when I think I'm under-leveled.
