0:09 - I tried jumping backwards, bouncing off the Paragoomba, and fluttering up to the Dash Pepper, but I found this to be about 0.2 seconds slower than simply running.
0:25 - From what I measure, going up the left side is 0.2 - 0.4 seconds faster than going up the right. The problems with the right side are the large bulge and the fact that you can't immediately activate the Launch Star when you reach the top of the wall.
1:07 - To make this jump to the Star, I hold NNE on the analog stick when approaching the edge, jump as soon as Yoshi runs off the edge, and hold left while in the air.
