On September 24, 2025 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, officers responded to a domestic violence call after a man reported that his girlfriend was attacking him in a light blue car. When police arrived, the couple had moved inside the home but were still in a heated argument. The woman, later identified as Nicara Rodriguez-Hardin, became increasingly aggressive, was placed in handcuffs, taken to the station, and then transported to a hospital for evaluation. This is body-worn camera footage of the officers’ response.
