Well, at least, most of the time it stays in 9/8!
This was un-prepared and spur of the moment stuff, whilst the camcorder was still rolling. I was making it up as I went, and without music or a metronome thing, it ain't easy to keep tabs of where you are in the bar when doing this kind of thing (oddly enough). There is a horrible pause when I wonder just where the hell I am, and then at the end when I go for the 6/8 polyrhythm a la Genesis Supper's Ready, it dies!! Anyway, what the hell.......
I think at some point I will actually prepare a 9/8 solo properly - I can do a lot better than this impromptu video, and I might as well prove I can do lots of fancy stuff and actually stay in 9/8 :-)
