In the spirit of the New Year and in the name of having a laugh, here on my second video of this great Charlie Daniels track, you get to see me make the same mistake several times, and get increasingly angry!
I then jump on the kit again, get through that little problem patch, and somehow pull off the rest of the song without any big mistakes. Phew!!
In some ways, this version is more accurate than the first video. I get all the accents about right and move from section to section correctly (or at least, as I intended!). For me though, this version is let down by the two big drum bits towards the end, when I don't really play all the fills I meant to play.
Having said that, I think you can pick out the double bass drum work (er, my attempt at Mr Peart type fills) easier than on the first video, so that is certainly a good thing.

ps - can anyone tell me why my recent videos seem to lack visual clarity - has YouTube done something to the settings? My MPG4 version of this video is very clear, as they always have been, but the conversion that YouTube has done on my three most recent vids seems to be really poor quality? Why?
