I see way too many people landing with their legs locked out when doing plyometrics. Unless there's some very specific sports-related reason for an individual to train like that, it's a very bad idea. You don't want to land with stiff joints; you'll damage them. We want to land soft by letting our muscles perform a controlled eccentric, sort of like the hydraulic system in an elevator shaft preventing the elevator car from cashing to the ground. This will save your joints and build more strength. I hope this quick video helps drive that point home!
