Request Playthrough | Part 22: Return to Gear Forest
Difficulty: Balanced (Normal)
In helping Venusmon and Neptunemon, one destiny has been changed. Now we work to change another.
We return to Rebellion Village with Venusmon in tow. Sadly Merukimon's condition has gotten worse. Turns out he's consumed by poison. We now got to work to find a cure. To do that, we got to find the fruit of Karpos Hule. It's in Gear Forest. Upon arriving, things have gotten dim. We deal with the enemy digimon that stand in our way. Upon arriving, the town is completely empty and Bacchusmon is nowhere to be found. So we head for the Sanctuary, only to find Bacchusmon drowing in his sorrow. Sirenmon is dead, as is everyone living in the town. The worst part was that he was asleep. Realizing he failed, he drank his sorrows away. Too late to help. Too late to save anyone. As he dies, the World Tree dies with it. It's then they see this dark shadow again who then sends us to the In-Between Theater. Guess this means we have another Akashic Vision.
We see the vision and return back to the Gear Forest, before everything went to hell. So now we race to reach the village. It's here that instead of Gryphonmon, we work with Lotosmon.
Time is of the essence. Part 23 is where we work to not only help Bacchusmon but change the fate of the forest and the World Tree.
