We still continue on.
We continue helping the agents powering the generators so that way the people can be kept safe. Eventually we reach Shinjuku Park and Dr. Simmons get the generator on. With everything set, we head for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The treasure is there but guess who beats us to it: Titamon. Titamon then absorbs the treasure's power, becoming stronger. So now we have a boss fight on our hands.
Titamon is a 2-phase fight. The first phase has us taking on Titamon and Skullbaluchimon. They are Virus-types so bring out Vaccines for it. Use your strongest attacks. As this fight, we learn that if it isn't stopped, Shinjuku may be no more. Made worse is that our actions may cause a different future to occur. It's also here that Inori and Aegiochusmon know about the Shinjuku Inferno and the war between Digimon may cause the destruction of the world. Despite this, Inori and Aegiochusmon are determined to help the agent see the journey through.
Once you deal enough damage, Skullbaluchimon will be defeated. Then you'll face Titamon and he's a lot harder. He mentions something known as Chronomon being the hero of the digital world and bane of the Titans. Titamon heads into a Berserk state so have everyone Defend. Afterwards, attack. But suddenly he turns menacing only for him to warp time and deliver a powerful attack that puts your party in an injured state. Heal your party while attacking. Eventually, the Operator figures out a way that we can stop him in his tracks. So we use the generator that Dr. Simmons gave us. As this happens, Titamon charges up again only to fail. With that failure, we can now go on the attack. Finish the job and the fight is over.
Titamon is defeated. He then unleashes a blast that can threaten the city. The treasure's power is now out of control. Being the hero he is, Aegiochusmon heads closer and takes the treasure. As he does so, the energy is expelled out into the sky, engulfing everything. They end up in an empty In-Between Theater. It's here we meet three individuals: King Drasil, Kunlun & Homeros. They don't like that we arrived here. So they ask us to leave. These three are known as the Hosts. They follow the will of someone. Whatever it is, we'll find out eventually.
It's then we arrived back in the Present. Or rather, a changed present day. Seems that everyone knows about Digimon. Made worse is that we travelled forward eight years into the future. All we can do now is return home. We return to find Hiroko Sagisaka who is crying. Crying that she hasn't seen Inori in 8 years. She explains what has happened. And it's not good. Not to mention there's D-SAT, an anti-digimon task force. The next day, D-SAT finds us and we all get detained. Turns out we also see Shota is part of D-SAT and Kuremi had died eight years ago. In a cell, we end up meeting Asuna Shiroki. She's here to help get us out all while trying to seek the truth about D-SAT. So for now all we can do is escape.
We'll continue in Part 20 as we see the results of a changed world.
