Diddy Phase is arguably the hardest phase of K Rool, especially the requirement for decent rocketbarrel control to start off with.
This video serves as a tutorial for those who find it tough to do Diddy Phase successfully. Whilst it does cover some tricky strats for beginners, if you fail to get it, there's always a simple backup.
