The father is clearly a term that's used as the source of authority, whether it's Father God, the father Adam, or one's own parent. But that is the source of authority. As an example of our culture's confusion case of the women who owns several Salons in Dallas, TX. refusing to comply with the lock-down executive commands from the Governor, she is indicted for being selfish and given a seven day sentence in the jail, apparently for being selfish. Her lawyer points out the absurdity of the situation. And the origin of it is that we rejected the biblical notion of king in 1776 and invented the idea that We the People create authority. So, are the People the master and the office holders our servent? Or are the office holders our master and we're their servant? And unfortunately no one knows for certain. We are in a dilemma.
