Tonight we continue blocking out our carrier interior and building some basic logic around this.
We also found out why our viewport UI wasn't working and oh-boy, it was a doozy...
I go into some detail talking about why we're blocking out the carrier interior with simple shapes instead of creating a pretty environment with cool 3D assets. Obviously that is where we want to end up but it is not where we start.
Also had a discussion about setting up shadows and why it's difficult to get it right. I need to find time to turn this into a proper tutorial because we did run into some annoying issues that require further research before we get it all right.
At the end we had a brief look at Godots export system and talked a bit about the special requirements for Android.
