Lasso has to grow up in a wine bar; his mother has neither time nor love for him. But his longing for adventure and escape from this harsh world is given new impetus by a message: a princess from far away promises to marry the man who invents three unsolvable riddles. He sets off courageously, and of course, a lot happens on this journey. Director Brigitte Dethier knows more.
We will present the premiere of Detlev Glanert's opera and musical road movie DIE DREI RÄTSEL (The Three Riddles) on 11 October on the main stage of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Under the musical direction of Dominic Limburg, Martina Baroni, Philipp Jekal, Chance Jonas-O'Toole, Joel Allison, Byung Gil Kim, Maria Vasilevskaya, Alexandra Oomens and musicians from the Orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, as well as over 90 soloists and singers from the Children's chorus, Youth chorus and Extra chorus of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, plus over 40 musicians from the Landesjugendorchester, the Arndt-Gymnasium Dahlem and the Musikschule City West.
